We love League of Miracles! It is the perfect place for our family! Our oldest son has autism and is nonverbal, but League of Miracles is a great place for him to try out new sports and spend time with new friends. Our other kids love it as well–it’s a super inclusive and fun group! <3

Desimber has been playing sports and attending activities at the League of Miracles for many years. She participates in many of the sports offered. She absolutely loves her friends that she has met through league. The staff and volunteers are awesome too! Desimber always looks forward to participating and visiting with her friends. By participating in the league, Desimber gets to experience many different sports in an inclusive environment where everyone truly feels welcome and comfortable to be themselves. We wish we would have found it sooner!

Creating a welcoming environment and remarkable experience for our players has always been our top priority, and our facility was designed with this in mind.

Our special baseball field is made entirely of rubber so players who use wheelchairs or walkers can round the bases safely. Our 40-by-60-foot building is equipped with a large air-conditioned community room, a concession stand and four fully-accessible ADA restrooms.

Our facility is located just three miles east of Mooresville on Landersdale Road. Our players travel from several surrounding counties to participate and enjoy their experience in the league of their own.

The League of Miracles would not be possible without the many gracious charitable donations from the people in our community.

Welcome to the League of Miracles!

Built in 2012 after local citizens were inspired to create a space where all individuals could enjoy America’s favorite pastime, the League of Miracles began as a specially designed baseball field & program for children with disabilities. It has since expanded into adult programming, annual painting classes, kickball and basketball and is planning on adding a day camp, and Soccer, as well as facility rentals in 2023!

As a 501 (c) 3 the programs and field are maintained through public sponsorships and donations, including an Annual Gala that raises the majority of the funds for the year.

We are a non-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors with representation from supporting churches and the community. Our partnering churches and organizations support us by providing monetary donations, representation on our governing board, provide donations and volunteers and help with other programs and services.

Personal and Business Sponsors

Listed are ways you can become a partner with League of Miracles. With your generous donations, our players have a place to play sports and learn the importance of team dynamics.

As a partner, we will advertise your company logo at the park as well on social media. We are excited to add advertising on our scoreboard as well. We hope you become a partner to fulfill our mission of providing a fun, inclusive sports atmosphere for individuals with special needs. We help ages 5+ enjoy the love of playing sports!

Buddy Sponsor $300

Buddy Sponsors cover the cost of the Buddy tee shirts for each volunteer who helps the players on the field during game play, with your company logo on each shirt. (1 sponsor per season)

Team Sponsor $300

Team Sponsors cover the cost of uniform tee shirts for a team for a season with your company logo on each shirt. We also announce your business name with the team name at each game (example: ‘The XYZ Jewelry Store Diamondbacks’). (Approx. 2-6 team sponsors per season). Basketball, Soccer, Kickball, Spring Baseball and Fall Ball Available.

Backstop Sign $500

Backstop Sponsors help provide sponsorship for players who may not be able to afford the cost to play. This allows us to stay up to date on equipment needs and field/grounds maintenance. Donors will be honored with a 24” metal baseball shaped sign with your company logo attached to our backstop.(multiple sponsors)

Outfield Sponsor $1000

Outfield Sponsors allow the League to help provide sponsorship for players who may not be able to afford the cost to play. This also allows us to stay up to date on seasonal equipment needs and field/grounds maintenance and expand our programming. Donors will be honored with a 5’ X 3’ banner with your company logo on our outfield fence. (multiple sponsors)

Celebration Sponsor $1500

Our Celebration Sponsor helps the League provide popsicle treats to each player after each game during the season and a medallion award to each player at the end of each season. Donors will be honored with their business logo on our building, a 6’ X 3’ banner on our outfield fence and advertising in social media. (1 sponsor per season)

MVP Sponsorship $5000

MVP Sponsors help the League with our building projects and to enhance our equipment and sports offerings, as we work toward our goal of adding more sports. Donors will be honored with their business logo on our building, their business logo included in all of our flyers for the year, their business announced during each game, a 6’ X 3’ banner on our outfield fence and advertising on our website and social media. (multiple sponsors).
